The Cohen-Stuckey family once again brought the community together for a successful Lyrics and Lemonade fundraiser at Viking Park on Saturday, September 5, 2026, raising $7,630 for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Nearly 200 people turned out for an afternoon of live music, lemonade, and baked goods, with 23 performers taking the stage to deliver a lively mix of classic and contemporary rock and pop.
The show opened with an impressive lineup of young performers: Aurianne Thériault, Layla Osman, Alisia Poissant, the SJF Rock Band, Abby Booyink, the Anne-Marie/Jonathan duo, Elora McMahon, and Meghan Cohen.
Closing out the afternoon were Volume 11, an eclectic band of Vanier College professors, and Cocoachella, featuring event organizer Stephen Cohen on guitar, his daughters Lianne and Meghan on vocals, his father Randy on drums, and his uncle Alan, a professional keyboard player based in Toronto. Behind the scenes, Valerie Stuckey kept things running smoothly, as the event’s lemonade mixologist, helping volunteers, and capturing the day’s highlights as the event photographer.
