A very informative meeting of the West Island’s Men’s Shed was held on April 7th with guest speaker Barry Christensen, who spoke about the importance of community involvement and discussed his own activities, including the creation of the Pointe-Claire Citizens’ Association, his membership in the Royal Canadian Legion, and Stepping Up/Un Pas Vers l’Avant – an organization that he founded to assist the homeless.
