With summer fast approaching, it's time to start thinking about keeping cool and enjoying fun times at your local neighbourhood pools and splash pads.
With two splash pads and seven* outdoor pools – not to mention the two indoor pools being open year-round – Pointe-Claire has many options for those looking for ways to exercise or cool off.
Pointe-Claire's splash pads, located at Augusta and Valois parks, have all kinds of sprinklers and buckets for fun play and are fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. Parents can stay dry in shaded areas, and the splash pads are situated near restrooms and changing rooms for when families are ready to continue enjoying their day out.
The outdoor pools are run by local associations, providing different activities for people of all ages. Pointe-Claire pools may also offer a daily single admission rate option, depending on if their membership thresholds have been reached. Membership options vary, including a recreational membership option.
All of Pointe-Claire's outdoor pools offer a variety of activities, including lap swim, swimming lessons, team activities, theme days, and so much more. Be sure to check each pool's website to see what they have to offer!
